In recent weeks, ATHE has signed an agreement with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai. Similar to Ofqual in England, the KHDA regulates technical and vocational education, training and international qualifications in Dubai.
Under this agreement ATHE is now recognised in the Emirate of Dubai as an International Certification Organistation. ATHE’s recognition by the KHDA will allow ATHE Centres to offer qualifications that are not only recognised by Ofqual and Qualification Wales in Great Britain, but qualifications that are fully recognised by authorities, employers and further education institutions in Dubai.
ATHE are constantly striving to offer the best possible qualifications and progression routes to our learners. The UAE is home to a young national population and a large expatriate workforce with these constituents seeking internationally acceptable vocational qualifications. ATHE are proud to be able to provide this to our recognised centres in Dubai and to our learners there, opening further opportunities for them within and beyond their studies.
This agreement with the KHDA follows ATHE’s approval in Malaysia and the Maldives and we are hopeful will supersede many more as we continue to create exciting prospects for our learners around the world.
